Isto Biologics’ Chief Scientific Officer Presented as Faculty Speaker at the Chicago Lower Extremity Surgical Symposium

Nov 15, 2016

Isto’s Chief Scientific Officer, H. Davis Adkisson, Ph.D., recently spoke at The 10th Annual Chicago Lower Extremity Surgical Symposium (CLESS) as an esteemed faculty member. Dr. Adkisson presented clinical efficacy data for InQu, a novel cell-friendly biosynthetic bone graft, in diabetic Charcot reconstruction of the lower limb. InQu supports tissue regeneration in challenging patient populations, providing an alternative solution where delayed healing and poor circulation can often lead to amputation. Dr. Adkisson’s presentation was part of the orthobiologics section of the Symposium.

Offering top-notch continuing education, CLESS provides one-day scientific lectures and case presentations, along with a one-day specialized cadaver skills workshop. Top physicians and experts in the field are invited to lecture and provide guided instruction to give participants a solid basis for current and cutting-edge surgical techniques in the management of trauma, lower limb flaps, and limb salvage.

Isto Biologics is proud to contribute to ongoing surgical education and the sharing of scientific information, adding to the body of evidence available for biologics in the broader medical community.
