Meghan Samberg

Vice President, Clinical Affairs

As the Vice President of Clinical Affairs, Meghan is responsible for leading and supervising all laboratory, preclinical, and clinical research efforts at Isto. She works closely with internal and external partners to bring new products into the Isto portfolio. She is experienced in medical device and biologics industries and her specialties include wound healing, animal model development and testing, nanoparticle toxicology, tissue engineering, biomaterial fabrication, and lyophilization. Prior to joining Isto, Meghan managed the research and operations of a small biologics company specializing in blood-based therapies, and the preclinical pharmacology efforts at a small drug development company specializing in nitric-oxide releasing therapies. Meghan holds a BS in Biological Engineering from the University of Georgia, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University, and a PhD from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. She conducted post-doctoral research at NCSU and at the United States Army Institute for Surgical Research at Fort Sam Houston.
