Manufacturing Assembler

Duties and Responsibilities

As part of an assembly line, the Manufacturing Assembler (Kitting) is responsible for finished goods assembly, including:

Assembling boxes, obtaining, organizing, and packaging raw material components in boxes, labeling, stacking in designated pallets or preparing for shipping.

Routine quality inspection of products. Examination of products to ensure that packing specifications are met.

Material handling (assembly line stocking). Gathering raw materials from the warehouse when needed.

General cleaning and housekeeping of work area is required.

Operating to applicable areas of the Quality System as required by the Company’s Training Matrix.

Will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives in order to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metrics.

Utilize M1 to open/close jobs and print labels.

Required Education and Experience

Previous Medical device assembly experience preferred
Dexterity and ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
Excellent attention to detail
Basic computer skills/knowledge is required.
Must be able to perform repetitive work while standing for extended periods of time
Ability to work under pressure, quickly and efficiently
Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to read, comprehend and follow written procedures, as well as ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
Ability to work productively and cooperatively as part of a manufacturing assembly team
A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
