Sr. Product Marketing Analyst

Arteriocyte Medical Systems, Inc. (dba Isto Biologics) has an opening for the Senior Product Marketing Analyst position in Hopkinton, MA. Responsible for driving the analysis, planning, and development and evaluation of the business segments in both domestic and overseas markets to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include:

  • Gathers and analyzes customer data to determine future offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for the assigned group purchasing organizations and national accounts.
  • Create portfolio pricing strategies for national and local contracts utilizing data analytics and customer information.
  • Analyzes sales trends and performs customer segmentation to drive strategic and tactical decision making.
  • Collaborates with regional teams to collect and analyze competitor information.
  • Produces competitive analysis materials comparing products with its key competitors.
  • Leads market research efforts as it pertains to business segments specific to cutting-edge technology and new product development initiatives.
  • Works closely with marketing, R&D, and Clinical teams to set priorities for strategic focus and efforts across both U.S. and fast-growing markets in order to best allocate resources to key growth product families.
  • Spends time in the field to gain market and clinical insights, as well as builds relationships with key physicians.
  • Generates standard and custom reports demonstrating the data-driven insights on sales performance, pipeline growth, risks and trends. Presents reports regularly to the business unit management and project team personnel as required.
  • Creates custom customer targeting information for each regional sales team utilizing market insights and procedural data.
  • Leverages understanding of global competitive landscape and utilize multiple sources to identify gaps in the market and customers’ unmet needs.
  • Interacts with functional stakeholders in the development of new products from concept through implementation.
  • Manages overseas-market inventory, pricing, project scopes and expectations, and customer communications.
  • Responsible for coordinating with meeting and events teams to determine what marketing material, product and displays will be needed to be sent to trade shows overseas.
  • Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definition and positioning responsive to customer needs and market opportunities for each market segment.
  • Conducts product and procedure training with the ability to weave multiple products and messages into a larger portfolio.
  • Establishes and maintains close relationships with field organization (e.g., key accounts, distributors, and surgeons) through training and active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, participating with pricing tactics, and customer support.
  • Develops global relationships and builds credibility with key internal cross functional stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the consistent delivery on an incredible educational experience to all our current and future international customers.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a closely related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in marketing or product management OR Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in marketing or product management. 
  • 3 years of experience in the medical device industry.
  • 1 year of experience in full life cycle product implementation by conducting SWOT analysis.
  • 1 year of experience in tracking and reporting market performance.
  • 1 year of experience in analyzing, visualizing and interpreting sales data. 
  • 1 year of experience in pricing analysis for company and competitor’s products through modeling the financial impact. 
  • Position requires up to 30% domestic travel. 
Experience may be gained concurrently.
