Isto is seeking a full-time Senior Account Specialist in the Chicago area. This is a field-based position focused on spine, orthopedic and foot & ankle specialties, covering Illinois, Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana. Working under the direction and guidance of the Regional Sales Manager the Senior Account Specialist will play a key role in supporting sales growth through prospecting, cold calling, and scheduling meetings with potential new customers, while supporting broader regional sales initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
Research assigned target accounts to gather key information, including surgeon contacts, procedural focus areas, and product usage insights. Conduct outbound calls, emails, and in-person visits to introduce Isto Biologics’ product portfolio and generate interest among prospective customers. Schedule meetings and product presentations for the Regional Sales Manager or Territory Manager. Maintain detailed records of research, outreach and follow-up activity.
Providing Case Coverage & Account Support:
Assist with case coverage (OR and office setting) under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager or Territory Manager. Support new account onboarding and product in-servicing, ensuring proper preparation, handling, and usage in the operating room. Participate in staff education sessions and assist with product replenishment or logistics as needed. Collaborate with the field sales team to ensure excellent service and follow-through for new and existing accounts.
Participation in sales meetings, training programs and attendance at conventions and trade shows may be required, as is operating to applicable areas of the company’s Quality System.
Required Education and Experience
- A four-year Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or technical field or equivalent education/experience is required.
- Previous hospital/OR based service and related orthopedic and spinal surgery sales experience would be highly preferred, along with a demonstrated interest in patient care.
- Position requires a self-motivated, results-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, communication, administrative and organizational skills.
- Strong business acumen including business planning and relationship management is thank required.
- Position will present varied work hours and travel, depending on region.
- A valid driver’s license in good standing is also required.
Schedule: Full time
Pay: Salary: $48,000/year plus quarterly bonuses
